Donald R. Jeffries

FUQUAY-VARINA – Donald Ray Jeffries, 79, passed away Friday at Rex Hospital. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Dwight Jeffries and Erie Smith Jeffries.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23rd at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22nd from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

Donald is survived by his sons, Gary R. Jeffries (Jamie), and Stephen D. Jeffries (Kim); grandchildren, Kelly Johnson (Kyle), Tyler Jeffries, Dylan Jeffries (Elizabeth), Paige Jeffries, Trevor Jeffries, Lauren Jeffries, Coltyn Morland (Stephanie), and Camryn Bodino (Dylan); four great-grandchildren, Haley, MaKayla, Karson, Paislee, and Graysen Johnson.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda B. Jeffries in 2018; a sister, Peggy Jeffries Smith; and a brother, Bobby Jeffries.
