Donald R. Honeycutt, Sr.

Donald R. Honeycutt, Sr., 79 passed away Monday Sept. 8, 2014. Don was a faithful husband and father, dedicated businessman and avid golfer. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM Thursday Sept. 11, 2014 at St. Andrews United Methodist Church.He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda and brother, Jessee. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Katie Johnson Honeycutt; daughter, Deborah Upchurch and husband Walter; sons, Donald R. Honeycutt, Jr, and William Honeycutt and wife Brenda; four grandchildren, Tracey Yekich, Casey Woodall, Preslee Honeycutt and Brooks Honeycutt and seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Grace and Noah Woodall, Hannah, Alaina, Nicky and Katie Yekich. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday from 6 - 8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church Building Fund 1201 Maxwell Dr. Raleigh, NC 27603.
