Donald James Woolard

Donald James Woolard, age 79, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 29, 2024 at McCuller’s Community Baptist Church in Raleigh.

Mr. Woolard was born August 2, 1944 in Wake County to the late Alie Ashworth Woolard and Johnny James Woolard. He retired from HVAC work in 1992. He then opened Woolard Rental & Home Repairs where he spent all of his time doing what he loved.

Surviving include his wife of 60 years, Betty Doris Woolard; daughters, Janice Henson and Debbie Woolard; grandchildren, Shannon Henson, John Henson, Brittany Henson, Taylor Barefoot, Haley Paz; great grandchildren; Abel, Addie, Aaron, Justice, Legend, Ashton, Colt. Mr. Woolard loved nothing more in this world than his wife, kids and grand babies.

The family will receive friends 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Garner.
