Donald “Donnie” Lee Barnes

CLAYTON – Donald “Donnie” Lee Barnes, 47, passed away suddenly June 26, 2020 at his residence. A native of Wake County, he is the son of David Lee Barnes and Joyce Dement Barnes. Donnie was an HVAC technician for many years. A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery in downtown Raleigh. Donnie is survived by his parents; David Lee Barnes and Joyce Dement Barnes; sister, Laura Barnes; brother, Randy Lee Barnes and wife Virginia; niece, Brene; 6-nephews, Kobe, Jaylon, Gunner, Cannon, Gage and Colton Barnes; as well as extended family. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, July 1, from 12:30-1:30 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
