Don Ray Messer

Raleigh- Don Ray Messer, 63, passed away Sunday surrounded by his loving family. Don was the son of the late Clarence Randolph Messer and Vallie Carroll Messer. He owned and operated Messer Transmission Service in Raleigh for 38 years. Funeral Service will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner Thursday 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton. Surviving are his wife of 35 years , Randi Greene Messer; son, Steven Messer and wife, Kimberly ; daughters, Kirby Barnes and husband, John , Kelly Bossman and husband, Kevin ; sister, Kathy M. Overton and six grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner 6-8 PM.
