Dollie Elizabeth Tannery

Dollie Dean Tannery, mother to two, grandmother to four and great grandmother to three, passed away peacefully in her home on February 8, 2026. Dollie was born in Raleigh, NC on January 8, 1926, and lived there most of her life with her husband Graham who preceded her in death in 2018. During her 101 years, besides family, she enjoyed many hobbies with her favorite being gardening. For as long as physically possible she spent time cultivating and enjoying the flower beds she created around her home. Until the end she was still rooting new plants inside her home.

 A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday February 16, 2026 at Montlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated and can be sent to Transitions LifeCare Hospice at www.transitionslifecare.org or by mail to 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
