Deborah Welsh Ozer

Deborah Welsh Ozer, 75, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away peacefully to her heavenly home on July 18, 2026.

Born on March 08, 1951, in Camden County, New Jersey, she was born to John T. Welsh and Carolyne Mitchell and had a sister Margaret. Deborah was a devoted member of the Civil Air Patrol for 16 years reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Her life was marked by deep faith, devotion to her family and an unwavering trust in God's provision.

Deborah became the beloved wife of Jack Julius Ozer, with whom she shared many years of love and commitment.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Julius Ozer; her son, Richard Winters (Sarah); her stepchildren, Michael (Kathleen) and Adam Ozer; and her five grandchildren, Brittany, Rylin, Noah, Dalaney, and Mackenzie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John T. Welsh and Carolyne Mitchell and sister Margaret.

A time of visitation will be held at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Garner, North Carolina on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 06:00 pm.

Internment will be at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 12:00
