David R. Carroll

WILLOW SPRING – David Ray Carroll, 74, passed away on Tuesday. A native of Wake County he was the son of the late James Milton Carroll and Macy Andrews Carroll. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Angier. Burial will follow at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his daughter, Sheila Ewing (Audrey) of Charlotte; son, Greg Carroll (Amanda) of Smithfield; sisters, Joann C. Nash (Bryant) of Garner, Reba Walker Haizlip (Bob) of Smithfield; brother, Mack Carroll (Gail) of Willow Spring; one grandson, Scott Carroll of Smithfield; special friends Bonnie and Steve Turner of Fuquay-Varina. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Vera Carroll; brothers, James, Jasper, JM, Buck, Lynwood and Bobby Carroll. The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Friday night from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and at other times at the home of Mack and Gail Carroll.
