David Timothy Faircloth, 61, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025.
He was born in Durham, North Carolina, on October 21, 1963, the beloved son of the late David and Mavis Faircloth. A devoted family man, Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be remembered fondly by family and friends as a man of unwavering determination, strength, and great generosity.
Tim was a hardworking and accomplished professional. He was a licensed HVAC contractor and certified real estate agent, known for his honesty, skill, and strong work ethic. He was also the proud owner and operator of Cooltek Mechanical, a business he built with pride and dedication. His work was more than a career-it was a reflection of his drive to serve others and provide for his family.
Beyond his professional life, Tim found great joy in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and especially loved riding his motorcycle down to the beach with his beloved wife, May. Those coastal rides and peaceful fishing days were among his favorite moments, simple, free, and full of life.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, May Thet; son, David Faircloth and his wife Tori; daughters, Amie Faircloth and April Faircloth; sister, Karen McCord; and grandchildren, Ryan Faircloth, Jade Faircloth, Pearl Faircloth, Isaiah Batchelor, Jacob Batchelor, Willaim Bordeaux, LeAnna Bordeaux, Hannah Hoffman, Ayden Ivy, Madison Ivy, and Henry Ivy-all of whom he loved very dearly.
Tim's legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the business he built, and the many lives he touched through his kindness, generosity, and enduring spirit.
