David Abel Bernstein

David Abel Bernstein, 52, passed Wednesday, May 26, 2021. David was born January 12, 1969, to Larry Bernstein and Deborah Halaby, in Kingston, NY. He was always a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and NC State Wolfpack. David loved animals and more than anything, spending time with his family. There will be a celebration of David’s life on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 2pm in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends following the service. David is survived by his parents, Larry Bernstein and Deborah Halaby; step-mother, Nancy Smyth; sister, Melanie Beth Bernstein; and step-brothers, Scott and Daniel Massey. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael William Bernstein. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations to a charity of your choice, in David’s Memory.
