Daniel G. Shattuck

FUQUAY-VARINA- Daniel Gene Shattuck, 86, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday. Born in Brown County, Indiana, he was the son of the late George Washington Shattuck and Laura Thompson Shattuck. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Angier United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Angier Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Survivors include his daughter, Joy Shattuck (John Sheaves) of Fuquay-Varina; sons, Dan Shattuck (Terry) of Clayton, Bobby Shattuck (Rose) of Willow Spring, Wesley Shattuck (Bonnie) of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Robert Shattuck; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; his girlfriend of six years, Louise Taylor; her three grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Owen Shattuck.
