Daniel Ivory Dean

Daniel Ivory Dean, 69, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026. Born February 5, 1957, in Wake County, NC, he was the son of the late Tommy Ivory and Doris Temple Dean.

Daniel was happiest outdoors, whether he was fishing, cutting grass, or caring for the grounds. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers and had a gift for figuring out how to fix just about anything. A jack of all trades, Daniel put his skills to work in many ways over the years, from electrical work to driving dump trucks. He took pride in a job well done and was always willing to lend a hand.

Daniel is survived by his son, Jeremy Dean; sister, Tammie Dean; brothers, Thomas Dean (Rebecca) and Donald Dean (Lynda) and 5 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Josh Dean and Jason Dean.
