Garner - Curtis Maxton Mack Clark, 85, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of First Baptist Church of Garner. He worked for Carolina Power & Light Company for 42 years. He enjoyed woodworking and Amateur Radio under the call letters W4EIF. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mildred L. Clark; sons, Johnny Clark and wife, Julia of Raleigh and Alan Clark and wife, Teresa of Raleigh; daughter, Karen Clark Cantrell and husband, Jeff of Bristow, VA and half-sister, Peggy Clark Camp of Mooresville, NC. Grandchildren include David Clark, Lauren Clark White, Shannon Clark, Samantha Cantrell and Hunter Cantrell; and great-grandchild, Bennett Clark. He was preceded in death by his father, John Volner Clark and mother, Edna Self Clark and step-mother, Ruth Roberson Clark; brothers, John Clinton Dee Clark and William Joseph Joe Clark. Visitation will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, October 2, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Garner, 601 St. Marys Street, Garner, NC 27529 followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC. Arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
