Clyde Graham Britt

Clyde Britt, age 92, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026.

Clyde was born on September 4, 1933, in Guilford County, North Carolina, to the late Rupert Britt and Miriam Watson.

A lifelong forester, Clyde had a profound appreciation for the outdoors . After retiring, he embraced golf with enthusiasm, forming a close-knit group of friends with whom he played regularly and traveled to courses throughout North and South Carolina. These friendships and adventures brought him great joy in his later years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Britt, who passed away in 2022.

Clyde is survived by his children: son John Britt, daughter Julie Liggins, son Chris Britt, daughter Laurie Bailey, and daughter Lee Ann Bailey. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were a source of pride and happiness throughout his life.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Clyde's life will be held on February 11, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Montlawn Memorial Park.
