Clifton Brian Whitley

Clifton Brian Whitley, 65, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday surrounded by his family.

Clifton was born in Spring Hope, North Carolina and grew up on a farm in Nash county. He met the love of his life at 15 years old, married March 9, 1980 and raised 2 beautiful children. He was a retired service technician and worked on copier machines. His real enjoyment was riding Harley motorcycles and had one his entire adult life. He was always fixing things around the house, a jack of all trades, and there wasn't much he couldn't fix. Clifton had an unconditional love for his two children and would go to any lengths to support and care for them.

He is survived by his wife of almost 46 years, Deborah; daughter Jessica Whitley-Brown and son-in-law Wesley; son Brian Whitley and daughter-in-law Melanie; sister Gloria Carroll and brother-in-law Barry; grandchildren Khloe Whitley, Braxton Whitley and Nathaniel Whitley; special nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Linda Murray.

He was preceded in death by father William Jack Whitley, mother Mozelle Hopkins Cockrell, brother Junior Whitley, and sisters Sue Gayle Fowler, and Connie Whitley.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7 2026 at Fellowship Bible Church at 11:00am, 401 S. Main Street Fuquay-Varina. Visitation will be held after the service until 12:30pm.

Casual dress welcomed.
