ANGIER- Cleo Cobb Matthews, 92 died Wednesday at her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Johnny Matthews, Jr., 7 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Denning and husband, Wesley of Angier and Faye Dorman and husband, Billy of Coats; grandchildren, Sandi Whitaker, Angela Collins and Matthew Denning; great-grandchildren, Joshua Whitaker, Christiana Whitaker, Caleb Denning and Emily Denning, great great grandson, Jonathan Whitaker.
