Clara D. Elder

ANGIER– Clara Dupree Denning Elder, 89, passed away on Friday. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Ethel Partin Dupree. She is survived by sons, Wayne Denning and wife, Harriet of Fuquay-Varina; David Denning and wife, Donna of Salisbury; sisters, Faye Clearman of Garner, Carolyn Avent of Holly Springs, Julia D. Way of Raleigh; grandchildren, Tanya Brooks, Deidre Zawistowski; 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marlene Underwood; brothers, Bruce Dupree, and Kenneth Dupree Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
