Claire Marie Crepeau-Hinspeter

Claire Marie Crepeau-Hinspeter, 79, of Garner, NC and long-time parishioner of St. Joseph's Parish in Raleigh, NC, passed away on April 26th after a long battle with heart disease.

She was born on April 14th in The Bronx, NY to Phyllis Ann Moricie-Crepeau and Louis John Crepeau. She grew up in the Bronx, NY and attended St. Anthony's Parochial School and Aquinas High School, Bronx, NY. She earned her Accounting Degree at North Carolina State University and was employed as a Certified Public Accountant.

Claire was a devoted Wife, Mother, Aunt, and Godmother to many. Claire will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and loving spirit. She loved her family and extended family, friends that were family, her church and giving to others. She brought joy to those around her through charity work, good food, and QVC.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Daniel Alexander Hinspeter; and her daughter, Christine Ann Hinspeter; her brothers, Robert Crepeau (Annette), Philip Crepeau (Arlene); and sisters, Dolores Perricone (Tony), and Barbara Fratello (Frank); plus many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, John Hinspeter and David Hinspeter; and her parents, Phyllis and Louis Crepeau; and her sister-in-law, Virginia Polant-Crepeau.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 29th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Raleigh, North Carolina (2811 Poole Road, Raleigh, NC 27610).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Habitat for Humanity and St. Joseph's Parish.

She will be deeply missed by many and forever remembered.
