Charles Glenwood Adams, Jr.

Charles Glenwood Adams Jr (Butch Adams), age 61, of Angier was born June 21st, 1961. He passed away April 7th, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda G. Adams of  Angier; son, Charles Adams III; daughter-in-law, Shawna; grandchildren, Riley and Chandler; daughter, Alice Jackson and son-in-law, James Jr.; grandchildren, James, Adam, Aaliyah and Jordan; daughter, Brittney Cotten and son-in-law, Jack; granddaughter, Hadley; son, Clifford Adams; daughter-in-law, Brianna; grandchildren, Emma, Braxton, Alexis, Jaiden; grandson, Eric Hendricksen; mother, Linda F Kalwara; stepfather, Michael Kalwara; sisters, Charlene Jackson, Glenda Pollard, and Ranae Strickland; he is also survived by other siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Melissa Hendricksen; granddaughter, Tiffany Hendricksen; and father, Charles Adams Sr.

Butch was a man who loved his family deeply. He was a hard worker who provided for his family. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his loved ones. He always had a story to tell. He was always there for anyone in need. He will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier.

Funeral services will be held April 14th at 2:00 pm at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church in Angier.
