Charles Edward Routten

Charles Edward “Eddie” Routten, 66, passed away at home suddenly, May 25, 2021. A native of Winchester,Va., Eddie was the son of the late Carl and Edith Marie Johnston Routten. Eddie worked for SAS Institute for 24 years as a Technical Support Statistician Manager There will be a Graveside service Saturday May 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sherwood Memorial Park, 1250 E. Main St. Salem, VA. Eddie is survived by his wife of 40 years; Linda Routten; sister, Misse Simpson; brother-in law, Bill Simpson; nephew Charlie Simpson; beloved dog, Carlie and special friends, Lanier and David, as well as a host of other dear friends and family. The family will receive friends Thursday May 27, from 6-8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
