Carrie Ann Gilbert

Carrie Ann Gilbert, 87, passed away at home with her family by her side. A native of Wake Co., she was the daughter of the late Clovis and Claudia Jones. Carrie retired from the banking industry where she worked as a Bookkeeper. She was a member of Capital Church where she attended until her health prevented her from attending. Along with her parents Carrie was preceded in death by her husband Hughes Lee Gilbert, Jr.; sisters; Mary L. King and Lois J. Dean and brothers; Douglas Jones and Sherwood Jones. Carrie is survived by her daughter; Jan White and husband Tim; granddaughter, Jenny Pollard; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Shelby; sister-in-law Katherine Jones and extended family. A private service will be held by the immediate family.
