Carolyn Whittington Purser

Carolyn Whittington Purser, 78, died peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021. A native of Harnett County, NC, Carolyn was born December 19, 1942 to the late Stacy Larmon and Welma Louise McDonald Whittington. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 2PM in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Carolyn is survived by her children, Craig Butler and wife, Casie, Jeffrey Butler and wife, Meredith, and Heather Hankinson; grandchildren, Mason Hankinson, Brandon Butler, Lauren Butler, Cole Butler, Haylee Smith, Katelyn Smith, Cody Butler, and Josh Barberena; sisters, Rebecca Stephens and husband, Jim, Stacia Blum and husband, Preston, and Lauren Whittington; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Earle R. Purser and a nephew Brian Blum.
