Carolyn Ingram

November 9, 1940 — October 23, 2025

Carolyn Y. Ingram, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Johnston County to the late Weldon Wall and Lola Allen. She had great compassion for those in need and helped in any way she could. She enjoyed traveling, reading, putting puzzles together, and thrift store shopping on Saturdays.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Larry H. Ingram, and brother Lonnie Dexton Allen.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Vicki Anderson (LaMarr), Terri Trammell (Jerry), Renee Arnold, Scott Arnold (Donna), and Lorri Ingram; sister Betsy Royall; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

A period of public visitation will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home of Garner (1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529) from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The cryptside service and entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).

In lieu of flowers, Carolyn wishes for donations to be made to Feed The Children OR The North Carolina Psychological Foundation, causes which were both near to her heart.
