Carol Langdon Price

Carol Sue Langdon Price, 85, of Willow Spring, NC died peacefully at the SECU Hospice House surrounded by her four children who loved her dearly. She was born on March 2, 1941, in Johnston County, NC. Her parents were Alton Wade Langdon and Lunette Stephenson Langdon.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lloyd Price, Sr. and her baby, Sharon Sue Price. Also preceded in death are her siblings: Brothers, AC Langdon and Kenneth Langdon. Sisters, Betty Ashworth, Jean Wilson, Nancy Anderson and Patricia Lee.

She is survived by her four children: Curtis Lloyd Price, Jr. (Liz), Wanda Price Fortune, Angela Price Allen (Linwood) and Tammy Rose Price. She is also survived by her baby sister, Dale Langdon Watkins.

Carol was married to the love of her life, Curtis, for over 60 years. He proposed to her while she was picking cotton in her daddy's cotton field. She was only 17 ½ years old. In their beautiful journey of marriage, they had five sweet little babies of their own, then came lots of grandbabies and great-grandbabies.

They resided and made a blessed life together in their home in Willow Spring, NC, where they lived out the rest of their days together. Carol worked for 11 years at Cornell Dubilier Electronics in Fuquay-Varina, NC, and later worked for 21 more years at Conagra in Garner, NC, where she retired. During her retirement, she enjoyed riding her golf cart with her Curt, and you would see them both together, sometimes 6 or 7 miles away from their home, just enjoying the quiet country roads together. You hardly saw one without the other.

She enjoyed singing with her husband, and they made CDs together. They harmonized just perfectly. For many years, she would have annual Spring Flings at her home for her family and friends. It was full of great food, games, singing and fun!

Carol was a member of Friendly Chapel Church in Benson, NC, since 2008 where she loved her church family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

We already miss you, mama. Enjoy heaven as you walk with Jesus.

Funeral Services will be held on May 7, 2026, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver Street Angier, NC. The wake will be at 10 AM with the funeral at 11 AM. Pastor Elvin Butts will be officiating her service. All family and friends are welcome to attend.

Also, they would like to thank all of the family members, friends and neighbors who have been so kind and loving during this difficult time, especially with the many prayers lifted up for us.
