Carol Ann Miller

Carol Ann Ellingwood Miller, 64, died Wednesday at WakeMed in Raleigh. She was a Postmaster for most of her life serving in Bahama and Wilson Mills, NC. She enjoyed her family and was a wonderful mother and the best grandmother to her three grandchildren. Carol was an independent woman who was always on the go and didn’t mind getting dirty. She loved to travel, especially taking cruises. A very dependable lady, Carol was always there during the rough times. She enjoyed antique cars and attended car shows, as well as enjoying music and going to concerts where bands were playing. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. Carol is survived be her mother, Norma Ellingwood of Maryland; daughter, Abigail Wood and husband, Greg of Raleigh; brothers, Robert Ellingwood of Maryland, Scott Ellingwood of Florida, Brian Ellingwood and Ed Ellingwood both of California; sister, Patricia Boyer of New Mexico, grandchildren, Jayde Emanuel, Kylie Wood and Gregory Wood all of Raleigh.
