Carlton “Pete” Crawford

GARNER- Carlton Brantley “Pete” Crawford, 86, died Thursday at Wake Medical Center. He was the son of the late Harvey and Loreena Hinnant Crawford. Mr. Crawford proudly served his country as a member of both the US Army and the US Air Force, from which he retired. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial with military honors will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00-2:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Jean Crawford; daughters, Donna Crawford of Garner; Shelia Crawford of Clayton and Penny Eason and husband, Steve of Garner; sons, Kenneth Crawford and Mike Crawford and wife, Kim, all of Garner; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
