Callie Louise Myatt

Callie Louise Myatt lost her battle with pneumonia and heart failure on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025. Louise was known as "Mimi" by her closest family members.

Loving her family was her only hobby.

Louise was born in Erwin, NC on October 10, 1945, and she was the daughter of Howard Reardon and Mae Inscore Reardon. She is survived by her daughter Denise Callaway and son-in-law Patrick Callaway; her sister, Hattie Davis and Shirley Avent; her brother, Jimmy Reardon; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ed and Gloria Briggs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Ray Myatt; her daughter Christy Myatt; and her sister, Jean Barile.

Louise loved time with her family whether it was coming for dinner or just sitting on her porch. Christmas Eve was always a special time for her, and she passed just an hour after her family left her home on Christmas Eve. The Lord knew she wanted to be with us one last Christmas Eve.

Her graveside funeral service will be at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, 1701 Bud Lipscomb Road, Willow Spring, NC on December 30, 2025, at 2:00 pm. All are welcome.
