Bruce James Gorman

Bruce J. Gorman, 75, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, passed away on the evening of July 3rd, 2026. Born in Babylon, Long Island to James and Anna Gorman, Bruce spent his early years living on a maple farm, climbing trees promised to be a hundred feet high. He spent a brief period in Florida, where upon his return to Long Island, dabbled in several different industries amongst many jobs. He spent most of his life working as a machinist, often working two jobs to provide for his family. He was a devout worshiper of Christ, dedicating his entire life to the word of God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and will be remembered by his wife of 40 years, Joanne P. Gorman, his two sons, Kevin Gorman and Jason Jones of North Carolina, and his brothers, Thomas and Gary Gorman of New York.

Bruce was a man of many words, deaf ears, and a kind heart. He will be remembered at his favorite spot; his front porch with a cigarette and a coffee in the same green mug.

His memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver Street, Angier, NC.
