Brent Tracy Slick Barnhill

BENSON - Brent Tracy Slick Barnhill, 45, died Saturday at Duke Hospital in Durham. He was the son of Diane Barnhill and the late James Barnhill. He was preceded by a daughter, Seciley Vatoria Barnhill. Mr. Barnhill joined the Garner Volunteer Fire Department at 17 and served for over 25 years. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at The Temple of Pentecost. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. In addition to his mother, survivors are his wife of 21 years, Rebecca Barnhill: sons, Brent Houston Barnhill and Landon Presley Barnhill of the home; sister, Vonda Cecil and husband, Joseph of Benson; father and mother-in-law Mike and Betty Smith of Fremont. The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, Monday, from 6-8 PM
