Billy Wade Walker

Garner– Billy Wade Walker, 76, passed away on Sunday. Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Henry Ford and Annie Parrish Walker. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 1st at 11:00 am at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Medlin Family Cemetery, Zebulon. There will not be a funeral procession to the cemetery. For those attending the committal service, we will reconvene at the cemetery at 2:00 PM. Surviving: His wife of 57 years, Lucille Pearce Walker; son, Chris Walker (Donna); grandchildren, Austin Wade Walker and Madison Grace Walker; sisters, Elsie Walker Bynum and Sue Walker Best (Mickey), Garner; brothers, Bobby Walker (Edie) of Gastonia, Doug Walker (Roslyn) of Lumberton, and Benny Walker of Garner. Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
