In addition to maintaining “Betty’s Kitchen” she enjoyed her yard, flowers, traveling with family and life’s simple pleasures such as a colorful sunset and bright full moon. Bob and Betty started attending Hayes Barton Baptist Church in the 1960’s following their return to Raleigh and it became their permanent church home thereafter. Special thanks to The Foley Center at Chestnut Ridge, Blowing Rock, NC and Medi Home Health Hospice, Boone NC for their care and compassion during Betty’s final months with us.
