Betty Jane Stephenson Braley

Betty Jane Stephenson Braley, of Garner, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the age of 91.

Mrs. Braley was born in Johnston County to the late Zinnie and Lena Stephenson. She was preceded in death by her husband, PFC Frank Braley, and her son, Guy Braley.

She is survived by her loving children: Wendy Braley Eatmon and her husband Ashley; Gordon Braley; Pandy Braley Hicks; Gregory Braley and his wife Peggy; Stephanie Braley; and Grant Braley and his wife Jennifer.

Mrs. Braley was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren, one of whom preceded her in death, and a cherished great-grandmother to eleven great-grandchildren.

She also leaves behind a large and loving extended family, having been one of seventeen children, with nine brothers and seven sisters.

Mrs. Braley will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
