Ben Royal Piner, Jr.

Willow Spring - Ben Royal Piner, Jr., 66, died Saturday at Wake Med. A native of Beaufort, he was a US Army veteran of Viet Nam and the son of the late Ben and Blanche Piner. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, October 19, at the Oceanview Cemetery in Beaufort, NC, officiated by Pastor David Bruce. Surviving: his wife, Pat L. Piner; sons, Patrick and Jason; sisters, Barbara P. Parkins and Beverly P. Turner and her husband, Gerald; brother, Eric Piner; grandchildren, Kaileigh and Staton Poole and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 16, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
