Barry “Marty” Tutor

Barry “Marty” Tutor, 64, passed away at home suddenly, August 20, 2020. A native of Wake Co. he was the son of the late Paul M. Tutor and his mother survives, Catherine Johnson Tutor. Marty worked for C. P. L as a sales rep. before becoming a salesman selling home warranties for many years. He was also a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church, in Willow Spring, NC. He loved farming and working with his cattle and working in the hayfield. Graveside service will be at 1 PM Monday August 24, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina. (Due to Covid-19 please consider wearing a face covering and social distancing during the service). Marty is survived by his wife of 42 years, Connie Jones Tutor; daughters, Kelly Tutor and Kristi Lewis and husband Trent; mother, Catherine Johnson Tutor; sister, Cathy Nance and husband Jeff; brother, Carl Tutor and wife Tabatha; grandson, Bryson Lewis and extended family. There will be no formal visitation, however, Marty will lie in state Sunday, Aug. 23 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Garner, from 1-5 PM for anyone wishing to pay their respects and sign the guest book.
