Barilla Sue Dean

Barilla Sue Dean, 78, passed away Thursday. A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Cleafus Roberts and Pearl Parrish Roberts. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, 15772 NC-50, Garner, NC 27529. Survivors include her daughters, Crystal Jackson (Gary) and Scherie Lynn Dupree; sons Mark Dupree (Carol) and Rev. Stephen Dupree (Gina); sisters Marie Byrd and Carra Lee King as well as nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Dean; sister, Leta Gray Liles and brother, Fenner Jerl Roberts. Please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
