Barbara Tew Springfield

Garner - Barbara Tew Springfield, 84, a retired employee with First Citizens Bank, died Tuesday. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Sarah Anderson Tew. A graveside service will be held Saturday, 2:00pm at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. Survivors include her son, Chip Springfield of Garner; daughter, Kim Springfield of Clayton; grandchildren, Lt. Billy Macon Trey Grissom III and wife, Megan of Topsail Beach and Travis Jacob Grissom and fiancé Mallory Crumpler of Wilmington.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Garner United Methodist Church, 201 Methodist Drive, Garner, NC 27529. The family would like to extend a thank you to a special friend, Tracy Czajka.
