Barbara “Bob” Ann Matthews Hardee

ANGIER- Barbara Ann Matthews Hardee, 75, passed away on Monday. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Norman C. Matthews and Cylda Parrish Matthews. Barbara was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a friend to all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 PM  in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at the Bethel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Cindy Ellis and husband Carl; sister, Judy McLamb; three grandchildren, Crystal Hamilton and husband, Frank Mack, Eric Hamilton and wife, Rebecca, and Ashleigh Ellis; four great-grandchildren, Stephanie Mack, Dylan Mack, Devin Mack, and Phoenix Ellis and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn M. Dixon; brothers Jason, Lynwood and J. C. Matthews.
