Anna Knowles Wise

RALEIGH - Anna K. Wise, 78, passed away Saturday July 30, 2011. Anna retired from Dorothea Dix Hospital as a nursing technician. She also sold Avon for many years and worked at the Garner Senior Center. She also worked at the Lighthouse. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Garner Advent Christian Church, burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Anna is survived by a daughter, Kim Wise and husband Mark Hughes; a sister; Ellen Murphy; a brother, Carroll Knowles; two grandsons, Chris and Hunter Hughes and agreat-grandson, Jake Hughes and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by her special friends. Family will receive friends and relatives Monday from 6- 8 PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
