Ann Workman Cosby

Clayton – Ann Workman Cosby, 87, passed away on Tuesday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Guy and Dorcas Hagwood Workman. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Private family burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Jim Cosby; daughters, Ellen Brantley of Kinston and Patty Cosby Hilliard and husband, Dennis of Clayton; sisters, Patsy Hudnall and husband, Dale and Alice Ussery, all of Garner; grandchildren, Shelly Rivera (Victor), Ashley Lawson (Philip), James Paul Hilliard and Wes Brantley; great-granchildren, Ryder, Kori, Kerrington, Kinley and Shawn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Becky Workman and brother, Henry Guy Workman, Jr. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, social distancing and face coverings are strongly encouraged.
