Ann Lindsay

Ann Eleanor Sexton Lindsay, 91, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. A native of Taunton, Massachusetts, she was born February 25, 1932, to the late Harold and Anna Flynn Sexton. She married the love of her life, Walter David Lindsay, Jr., on November 14,

1955. Ann was a Registered Nurse for many years before retiring from WakeMed and Holly Hill Hospitals. She was a huge NC State Football and basketball fan, and she was the biggest fan of David Thompson. She enjoyed her time at Lake Gaston, especially because it meant she was spending time with her family and friends.

Ann is survived by her children, Robert Lindsay and wife, Vonda, Michael Lindsay, and Joanne Lindsay; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Nash Lindsay.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Walter David Lindsay, Jr.
