Angelo Maurakis

Angelo Maurakis, 86, of Raleigh, NC, passed away at Wake Medical Center late Tuesday night, November 13, 2018, of complications due to COPD. A lifelong restauranteur, he spent the last 20+ years of his life as a full time grandfather. Survivors include his daughter, Evelyn Seabold; sons, Jimmy Maurakis and Louie Maurakis; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bakas and Mrs. Koula DeRossi; brother, Gus Maurakis, sister-in-law Loula Maurakis, brother-in-law, Joseph DeRossi, daughter-in-law, Cindy Maurakis; son-in-law, Matt Seabold; granddaughter, Nikki Maurakis, grandsons, Henry Boyd and James Boyd; step-grandchildren, Sarah Boyd and Rick Boyd and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family. He lived a long, full life and he will be sorely missed. May his memory be eternal. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday Nov. 17, 2018 at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville, Va.
