Alvin Jackson Blalock

Alvin Jackson Blalock, 88 , died Friday, surrounded by his loving family. A native of Wake Co. ; he was the son of the late Lee and Coonie Fish Blalock and preceded in death by one son, David Blalock. He was a farmer and was employed at Westinghouse for 18 years.Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church, Willow Springss with burial to follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Rozella Pollard Blalock, of 65 years; daughter, Shirlene Beddard and husband, Garland of Bailey; son, Ray Blalock and wife, Melanie of Willow Springss; sisters, Laura Lee Adams and Linda Smith both of Willow Springss; and Joann Kilburin of Virginia. He is also survived by seven grand-children and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier
