Earl was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed many of these outings with his father Alton and his son Al at his side for many years. He was often quoted on fishing outings regarding the catch, "to always throw one back in the pond." He also enjoyed competitive horseshoe tournaments within his corporate world special events. He is known in his family and friend circles as the master pig cooker and his Barn Fish Fry's were legendary. He actively supported his children throughout their youth years of sports and cheerleading activities and his grandchildren's horse showing competitions.
Above all else, Earl loved his wife and family and was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He lived life simply and created lasting memories and impressions to all who entered his life.
