Alma Davis Oates

RALEIGH – Alma Jewel Davis Oates, 65, went to be with the Lord Thursday. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Survivors include her son, Bill Oates (Michele) of Raleigh; daughter, Heather Oates of Prattville, AL; granddaughters, Bailey and Kendall Oates; sisters, Frances Byrd, Elaine Webb, Helen Broadway, all of Montgomery, AL and Angie (Tom) Ferreira of Greensboro, NC; brother, Thomas Broadway III (Theresa) of Montgomery, AL, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, LeGree Davis; mother and step-father, Mildred Miller and Thomas Broadway, Jr. The family would like to thank Lee’s Long Term Care Facility for their outstanding service and care.
