Alice Hart Ball

RALEIGH - Alice Hart Ball, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday. A native of Fuquay-Varina in Wake County, she was the beloved daughter of the late Jake O. Partin and Ella Wilson Partin.

She is survived by her daughter, Jammy Ball, her sister, Letha Dean, and a large, loving extended family. Alice was a devoted and caring mother who raised two beautiful daughters on her own. She had a special fondness for peace lilies and found joy in their quiet beauty. Alice dedicated many years of her career to working at Alcatel/AT&T, where she was known for her strong work ethic and kind spirit.

In addition to her parents, Alice Ball was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy; sisters, Ruby Talton, Hazel Raynor, Katie Partin Gilbert; brothers, Fred Partin, and Talmadge Partin.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, located at 300 E. McIver St., Angier, NC. Interment will follow the service in the Sandy Grove Cemetery in Angier, NC.
