With profound sorrow and everlasting love, we announce that our precious baby girl, Adalyn Marie Lee, was born into the arms of angels on September 5, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Though her time with us was far too brief, she filled our hearts with endless love and hope.

Adalyn is the beloved daughter of Destiny Chevis and Allen Lee, Jr. and the cherished sister of Dylan Lee and Allen Lee, III. She is deeply loved by her grandparents, Cheryl Chevis, Darnell Chevis (Maternal) and Phyllis Singleton and Allen Lee, Sr. (Paternal), maternal great-grandparents, Louise & Horsley Lewis and Chanester & Claudell Chevis, her devoted aunts and uncles, Cherelle King (Andre King), LaToshya Chevis (Crystal Jackson), Shaneka Lee, Shaquana Lee, Shateaque Lee, Aldrianna Lee, and Alwan Lee and a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Though Adalyn never took a breath on this earth, her presence was deeply felt. From the first flutter of her movements to the dreams we held for her future, she brought warmth, joy, and anticipation into every moment. Her memory is a gentle reminder of the preciousness of life and the power of love that transcends time. In our hearts, Adalyn will always be our sweet baby girl, a beacon of light and hope whose spirit will guide us forever.

Her tiny footprints have left an incredible mark on our lives. Though we will never see her first smile or hear her laugh, the love she inspired will remain a guiding light in our hearts. Some only dream of angels, we held one in our arms.

The funeral service will be Monday, September 15 at 11:00 am at Kyles Temple AME Zion Church, 409 Dunstan Ave, Durham, NC 27707. Burial at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612 will follow the service. The family will have a private viewing for family only prior to the service.
