Zoba Linwood Holland

ANGIER - Zoba Linwood Holland, 79, passed away June 21st after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zoba and Inez Holland. He was a loving husband of 61 years and loving father to three daughters. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Weaver Holland; daughters, Gail Markowkin and husband Alexander, Lynn Johnson and husband, Leonard, Tammy Jackson and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Amanda Baker, Glenn Sorrell, Christopher Sorrell, Stephanie Dries, Hunter Jackson, Zoba Jackson; great-grandchildren, Daisy Coleman, Savannah Sorrell, Luke Sorrell, Elias Sorrell, Oliver Sorrell, Dallas Sorrell, Lilli Sorrell, Xander Dries, Addelynn Dries, and Everly Dries. The family has elected to hold a private service at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the SPCA in honor of Linwood’s love of animals (spcawake.org).
