Wilma Wood Gibbs

RALEIGH- Wilma Wood Gibbs, 80, passed away at her home on Saturday. A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Sarah Jernigan Wood. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends on Monday night from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Wilma is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Sue West and husband, Jerry of Wendell, Debra Williford and husband, Freddie of Fuquay-Varina; son, Terry Glenn Peacock and wife, Barbara of Franklinton; grandchildren, Marty Ray Parker, Jerry Dwayne Parker, Michelle Bullard; six great-grandchildren In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her husbands, Dallas E. Peacock and James Monroe Gibbs.
