William Colon Johnson, 60, passed away Wednesday at his home, July 13, 2022. Colon was born in Angier, North Carolina, November 28, 1961, to father, Charlie Ray Johnson, and mother, Wyonna Faye Johnson. Colon was an avid football and baseball player. He loved spending time with his loved ones, all things NC State Wolfpack, racing, fishing, the outdoors, and overall having a good time with family and friends. He graduated from Harnett Central High School in 1980. Later he graduated from CCCC with an associate degree in Tool and Dye Making. He then pursued the profession as a Senior Toolmaker for the remainder of his life. Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Johnson; father, Charlie Johnson; mother, Wyonna Johnson; sister, Dawn Johnson; sons, Blake Johnson, and Elijah Mason; daughters, Cassie Curran, Angela Johnson, and Mandi Johnson; grandchildren, Alissa Clarke, Dallas Johnson, Bryce Johnson, Leighton Crisp, Mia Fuentes, and Sawyer Reign Johnson; niece, Katie Hufton; and nephew, Bryan Young. The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver St., Angier, NC 27501. The family will be receiving friends and relatives two hours prior for a visitation, at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, prior to the service. Burial will proceed directly after the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
