William Bill Fields

GARNER - William Bill Fields, 78, died Tuesday at Cary Health and Rehab Center. A native of Richmond County, he was the son of the late James Fields and Jane Culberson Fields. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Holland United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shirley Fields, daughters, Donna Fields Milton of Billings, MT and Miriam Fields Coggins and husband, Tracy of Stokes, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer Coggins Bateman and husband, David of Colonial Beach, VA, Elizabeth Ann Coggins of Stokes, NC and Meagan Milton of Billings, MT. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 215 S. Person St., Raleigh, NC 27601.
